3-Bullet Sunday (Sea Limited: Shopee, China Regulatory Risks and The Highest Form of Wealth)
Hi everyone!
Here are 3 updates for the week.
I. Shopee’s Secret Playbook
Despite being the youngest eCommerce player in Southeast Asia, Shopee outperformed all competitors and shareholders of Sea Limited (Shopee’s parent company) have been handsomely rewarded.
II. Should We Still Invest In China Companies?
Given the recent regulatory clampdowns, is it time to bargain hunt or should investors avoid China altogether?
I went on two interviews with The Financial Coconut (TFC) and Seedly to share my thoughts on this.
If you missed the live sessions, catch the replay here (TFC) and here (Seedly).
III. The Highest Forms of Wealth by Morgan Housel
The highest forms of wealth are different for each individual.
But here are a few that stick out:
Controlling your time and the ability to wake up and say, “I can do whatever I want today.”
Money becomes like oxygen: so abundant relative to your needs that you don’t have to think about it despite being a critical part of your life.
A career that allows for intellectual honesty.
